Hi Everyone,
I am writing in response to those who are having a hard time really feeling the energy move. Sometimes our energy feels stuck, and sometimes our energies resist grounding into the earth. There are many, many reasons that this may be going on, but there is a very simple exercise that I have found that works for many of my clients. This exercise corrects several issues in the body at once and leaves a sense of “relief” in your body. I will try to describe this to you right now.
I call this the “Central Dig”
There is a meridian line that runs up the front of your body called the Central Vessel. Start with one hand at the top of your pubic bone in the front of your body. Dig your fingers on a vertical line, then use your other hand directly above the other hand and dig into your abdomen just above that area, then continue moving all the way up the front of your body, when you get to the throat area, keep moving up to your chin, but with just a very light touch (no digging on the throat). Then grasp your chin with one hand and put the other hand directly on the top of your head (crown region) and take another deep breath. Now, while you are moving up this line on your body, say to yourself “I am (your name) and I am safe.” Keep repeating this phrase all the way up and say it again when you are holding your chin and the top of your head.
I know this may not sound so simple by reading it, but try it on your body, feel free to ask me questions. Do this at least once a day. Let me know if this helps you to feel more grounded and “safe”.
